Rewards and Funding for Fuel Up to Play 60

Throughout the year, Dairy MAX provides cool rewards and incentives for schools, students and Program Advisors to keep the momentum of Fuel Up to Play 60 going. Check out the rewards for Student Challenges, Program Advisors and the competitive funding opportunity with Fuel Up to Play 60.

Student Challenges
Student Challenges are held throughout the year to involve even more students into your schools’ Fuel Up to Play 60 program! The four Challenges have been created to showcase how students are eating healthy and being active throughout the school year. Rewards include an NFL pep rally at your school, customized NFL jerseys and Best Buy technology gift cards for your school! Program Advisors can find Challenge guidelines and how to enter at Fuel Up to Play 60 in your Dashboard area. Program Advisor Rewards
As a Program Advisor, you are the key to completing the Six Steps to Fuel Up to Play 60. The Program Advisor at each school works with students and other adults to put a game plan in place to make your school a healthier place. Program Advisors are rewarded along the way too! Each school with a Program Advisor receives a Program Advisor and Student Starter Kit filled with cool give-a-ways and tools to activate the program. Plus, Program Advisors receive a $100 gift card when they complete the Six Steps to Fuel Up to Play 60! Learn more about the Six Steps and how to qualify here.

Competitive Funding Opportunities 

 Up to $4,000 per year is available to any qualifying K-12 school enrolled in Fuel Up to Play 60. The competitive, nationwide funding program can help your school jumpstart and sustain healthy nutrition and physical activity strategies.

Funds for Fuel Up to Play 60 are to help your school increase:

  • student access to and consumption of nutrient-rich foods, including low-fat and fat-free dairy, fruits, vegetables and whole grains;
  • student opportunities for and participation in physical activity in school;
  • sustainable changes in making your school a healthier place;
  • student awareness of the importance of healthy eating and increased physical activity.

Upcoming application deadline is June 4, 2013.

Funds for Fuel Up to Play 60 are competitive and awarded based on the quality of your application. The documents in Tools for Download will help you develop a strong application.
