Amanda Ford is a full-time dietitian and part-time foodie. She was drawn to the field of nutrition at a young age through her 4-H food science projects. An educator at heart, focused on helping Oklahomans understand the relationship between nutrition and health. She has developed curricula for workshops, seminars and classes on nutrition and disease prevention, food safety, cooking, recipe modification, weight management, diabetes management, physical fitness and much more. A graduate of Oklahoma State University and the University of Central Oklahoma, Amanda has a Master of Science in dietetics and was Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year by the Oklahoma Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in 2015. She loves cooking and lives in Yukon, Oklahoma with her husband Erik, their daughter and their bulldog.
