Scot Dutcher is passionate about protecting and promoting his local dairymen and the products they produce. He brings over 40 years of experience in animal agriculture to his role at Dairy MAX (Western Dairy Association before the merger). The former chief of the Bureau of Animal Protection for the Colorado Department of Agriculture, where he grew his extensive knowledge of animal welfare and crisis response, Scot has also worked as a ranch hand and foreman in beef production and is Beef Quality Assurance certified. He is a founding board member of the Colorado Unwanted Horse Alliance, sits on the Board of Directors for the Animal Welfare Council and is a local field director for the Sportsmen’s Alliance.

Favorite healthy breakfast:
Biscuits and gravy, but that’s not healthy according to my doctor!

Favorite physical activity:
Riding and training horses.
