Weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten:
Eggs of a softshell turtle. My dad made them after we caught one on a fishing trip. It was not tasty.
Best advice you’ve ever received:
Swing big like Babe Ruth. You’ll either hit big or miss big, but it’s better than never trying or being afraid to try.
Your food/nutrition mentor growing up:
My parents. They were busy but made healthy and tasty meals a priority for us. They taught me how to cook and let me try my hand at things at an early age, which I’ve also passed on to my boys.
