How your friends would describe you: That would depend on the friend you are asking, but I think they would all agree I am loyal. I would do anything I could for a friend in need. I also try very hard to be kind and considerate, so hopefully they would mention that. I always find the positive in any situation (my nickname is Sunshine), but I balance that out with a wicked sense of humor!
Favorite gym activity growing up: The dismissal bell! I was not athletic in any way, shape or form. I tried my best, but it was not something I looked forward to. Luckily, I have discovered activities in adulthood which I do enjoy that help me live a healthy lifestyle.
Favorite food to cook for your family: My family gets comfort food from me as a sign of my love. My favorite is my grandmother’s chicken noodles. It has homemade noodles and a thick, creamy sauce. It was what she made every time we visited, and it is what I make when my kiddos come home.
Ideal weekend: Some quality time with my husband – preferably exploring somewhere we have never been. If there is good food involved, all the better.
Four items you would take to a deserted island: Assuming people can’t be included as items, I would take a toothbrush, a deck of cards, ChapStick (no naked lips) and matches. Too sensible?
