Physician Assistant at The Pediatric Group in Oklahoma City
Audrey McGowen is a Physician Assistant at The Pediatric Group in Oklahoma City. Audrey always knew she wanted to work in pediatrics, initially thinking she’d end up in pediatric dentistry. It wasn’t until an anatomy cadaver lab in college that she realized her passion for pediatric medicine. She believes good nutrition is vital for a healthy lifestyle and that it’s important to start good habits at a young age. Audrey earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Oklahoma Baptist University and completed her Master of Health Sciences and Physician Assistant training at University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City. She is a member of the Oklahoma Association of Pediatrics and a volunteer with Santa’s Cause – a organization that gives presents to children in need. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, crafting and baking.
