As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Maria-Paula has been working with families from the start. She is a graduate of Texas Woman’s University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics as well as her Master of Science in Nutrition. Having a family of her own, Maria-Paula understands the importance of families working together to achieve their nutritional goals. She focuses in translating the science of nutrition into practical and useful recommendations that help her clients achieve lifestyle changes. She has provided nutrition services in community and clinical areas including Head Start of Greater Dallas; Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC), Parkland NNICU, and Children’s Medical Center.  Three and a half years ago, Maria-Paula started her own private practice, LifeCycle Nutrition, in Allen, Texas. She uses her years of experience to provide nutrition counseling for weight management, heart health, food allergies, GI conditions and overall wellness to both children and adults. Her passion is educating others on ways to fit good and balanced nutrition into real lifestyles. Maria-Paula is an avid runner and a fitness enthusiast – she understands first hand, the importance of proper fueling for optimal performance. In addition, Maria-Paula enjoys sharing her knowledge in a variety of media outlets. Any opportunity that she has, she is happy to write an article for a magazine or blog, give a TV or radio interview or speak to a public or professional group.
