Sarah Ryan is a foodie fascinated by the way food connects with each of us personally. She earned a Bachelor of Science in food, nutrition and dietetics as well as a Master of Science in human sciences from Stephen F. Austin State University – she’s also certified in food allergy training by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Sarah previously worked as district dietitian at the University of Houston System and Victoria College for Aramark, but joined Dairy MAX in March 2015. A member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Sports, Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group, Sarah lives in Houston, Texas. In 2017, she was named Media Dietitian of the Year by the Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. In 2018, she was named Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year by the Texas Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
One food you’d want if stranded on a desert island:
A whole grain baguette and cheddar cheese. It’s the simple things.
Weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten:
Lamb livers in Turkey.
What always makes you laugh:
Anytime Seth Meyers smiles I giggle like a school girl. He’s such a cutie!
