Kaci Creel grew up on a beef cattle and wheat farm, so she has a passion for bridging the gap between consumers, who don’t know much about the origins of their food, with farmers, who dedicate their lives to growing it. Formerly the urban relations director for the Texas Farm Bureau, with a Bachelor of Science in agricultural communications and a minor in advertising, Kaci came to Dairy MAX in 2009. She lives in Olney, Texas, with her daughter, Harper.
One food you’d want if stranded on a desert island:
Pizza, or maybe Pop Tarts. That’s a hard one.
Weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten:
Calf fries! I'm pretty picky, so eating weird things isn't really my thing.
Best advice you’ve ever received:
Growing up on a beef cattle farm, my dad always said, "Keep your mind on cattle." Which meant, get your mind right, stay focused, stay true and everything will work out.
