Mike Marley, a first-generation dairyman, brings 15 years of dairy experience and a strong commitment to advancing the industry through innovation and leadership. He has embraced evolving technologies on his dairy, including activity-monitoring collars, automated sort gates, genomic testing and micro-machines for feed batching, helping improve efficiency and decision-making on the farm. Mike and his wife, Dianne, have three daughters — Elizabeth, Margaret and Michelle — and five grandchildren.
Beyond his dairy, Mike serves in numerous industry leadership roles, including positions with Dairy Farmers of America (DFA), the DFA Southwest Council, Dairy Management Inc. (DMI), the United Dairy Industry Association (UDIA), U.S. Dairy Export Council (USDEC) and CoBank. As a Dairy MAX board member, he values the opportunity to collaborate with fellow dairy farmers, learn from different operations and help guide strategic checkoff investments. Mike is especially passionate about dairy exports and believes expanding global market opportunities is critical to the future success and profitability of U.S. dairy farmers.
