Jennie McDowell

Jennie McDowell grew up on a farm in Wyoming and got her first horse at age 3. While earning her Bachelor of Arts in psychology at New Mexico State University, she worked at restaurants, and soon took over a restaurant and catering operation in New Mexico. Jennie later traveled to New Zealand to earn her Master of Business Administration from the University of Otago, where she also served as a business strategy consultant and helped develop the first authentic Chinese Garden in the southern hemisphere.

Kim Harris

Kim Harris was a proud third-generation dairy farmer; now she uses her knowledge to educate others about agriculture. With a Bachelor of Science in general agriculture from Tarleton State University, Kim joined Dairy MAX in 2006. She lives in Stephenville, Texas, with her husband, Justin, and their son, Colton.

Favorite physical activity: 
Walking.

One food you’d want if stranded on a desert island: 
Cheese.

Best advice you’ve ever received: 
Keep your eyes on the goal.

Blanca Duron

Blanca Duron is the warm voice on the other end of the line when you call the Dairy MAX office. She came to Dairy MAX in 2007. Blanca also enjoys sewing, crocheting and jewelry-making. She works in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Favorite healthy breakfast: 
Migas (eggs, tortillas, onions, jalapenos and cheese).

Favorite physical activity: 
Walking.

One food you’d want if stranded on a desert island: 
Cheddar cheese.

Mary Dickson, RDN, LD

Mary Dickson started her education in nursing, but an awesome professor for her Nutrition 101 class inspired her to switch her major to nutrition. She earned a Bachelor of Science in dietetics from Texas Christian University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. After serving as a community dietitian for ARAMARK Education K-12 and as a clinical dietitian for Arlington Memorial Hospital (now Texas Health), she joined the Dairy MAX team in 2012. A member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Mary lives in Rockwall, Texas, with her husband, John, their two kids.

Lally Carbajal

Lally Carbajal says she was destined to work in school nutrition– in fifth grade, she helped in the cafeteria during lunch to collect milk tokens from the students. Lally was previously the child nutrition director for Robstown ISD. She earned her BS in home economics with a concentration in food and nutrition science from Texas A&M-Kingsville, where she was inspired by one of her chemistry professors to pursue a career in nutrition. She joined Dairy MAX in May 2014, and is also a member of the Texas Association for School Nutrition.

Susan Allen

Susan grew up on a multi-generation family farm in northwest Oklahoma and has more than 30 years of experience working in agriculture.  She joined the Dairy MAX team in 2007 working in many aspects of the company, and now with a focus on issues and crisis communications.  With a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Education in family and consumer sciences, Susan uses her knowledge of consumer education and of agriculture to help support the dairy community’s ability to proactively prepare for, manage and respond to crisis.  She was named a Friend of

Marty McKinzie

Marty McKinzie has a passion for agriculture and deep ties to dairy. He grew up active in 4-H and FFA, while helping family members on their dairy farms. With a Bachelor of Science in agricultural development and a Master of Education in agricultural education from Texas A&M University, he enjoys sharing dairy’s story and working with dairy farmers to help them share improvements in dairy production and the tremendous gains in sustainability for dairy. Marty joined Dairy MAX in 2008 after previously serving as an agriculture teacher and lender.
